i+1 - 1salient memories of a softcolored rose  I a selfdefense to art  eye a life to my world  aye it cant forget  unlike I   
the sun burning down on a field  of oncemolten life  to nowstagnant notlife  unlike the death of a man  this means nothing  wind tears up the chalky grey hills  and crumbling rock  poisonous lichens thrive  where once stood a bronze  of a man and animal noble enough to enslave   
is future the difference  I limited by eyes  why some try for the past  reflections on the waves of effect  affected only to come back again i+1 - 1

Waves in the Skytake your life's pencil to the heavens  with your outstretched hand  and quivering arm that just wants  a cloud's kiss and the hug of a rainbow   
make your mark like a rip in the aether  shatter your teather and run  run fly off your hill  out of your valley  out of your home  and into a sun-pelted beyond   
it's a blank piece of paper  blank from all the writing   
so many locks of virginal hair  and curly veins of plasma  so many tracks in the sand  that it's all a glassy expanse

I'm not one for online journals, but it's better to have something in this space than...space?

I'm reading poetry by Auden and listening to a song called Roullette Dares by The Mars Volta in preperation for an exam I have in an hour and a half.

It's a gloomy day, of which I've had enough over the span of the last few weeks on my so-called vacation and the uncharacteristic rainy weather of this desert state.

But, it doesn't matter, back to Auden.
